Rosa was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. It came as a surprise, since she was very active.
This disease was very hard on her and she began to get weaker every day. Her condition continued to get worse and she was diagnosed with kidney failure. She spent 2 years and 9 months on dialysis. Finally she received the gift of life; a kidney transplant. Her life has changed completely, she has energy and wants to be doing something all the time. She is very thankful for this second chance and the donor who made this possible.
