The Festival of Trees was held at the Boise Centre on the Grove, November 23 - 27. The Yes Idaho Coalition sponsored a "Gift of Life" tree. The tree was decorated in the Donate Life colors of blue and green and had a butterfly theme, signifying transformation and rebirth. Nestled in the branches of the tree was a framed copy of a beautiful poem about butterflies written by the mother of a young organ donor.
There were wrapped packages at the base of the tree. One of the packages included a QR code that took those who scanned it to the Yes Idaho website registration page.
The tree was sold as part of the event and all proceeds will go to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center.
