The Threads of Life Quilt is dedicated to the memory of those who gave the gift of life, sight and mobility. It also celebrates the lives of transplant recipients and offers hope to those awaiting transplant. The quilt is comprised of individually-designed squares created by people touched by organ, eye, and tissue donation in Idaho. Each unique square carries with it its own special meaning to those that submitted it. The 2016 YesIdaho Scrapbook allows you to get a view of the quilt and learn about the stories behind each square.
A second Threads of Life Quilt is being created. Submissions for the quilt have closed, and our volunteers are now putting the quilt together and arranging the book that will accompany the quilt. The 2018 quilt will be unveiled on Thursday, April 12. More details to come.
