The Threads of Life Quilt is dedicated to the memory of those who gave the gift of life, sight and mobility. It also celebrates the lives of transplant recipients and offers hope to those awaiting transplant. The quilt is comprised of individually-designed squares created by people touched by organ, eye, and tissue donation in Idaho. Each unique square carries with it its own special meaning to those that submitted it. The 2016 YesIdaho Scrapbook allows you to get a view of the quilt and learn about the stories behind each square.
Join us in unveiling the first Threads of Life Quilt, recently completed as a dedication to the memory of those who gave the gift of life, sight, and mobility in the Idaho region.
The Idaho Transportation Department is hosting the event on Thursday, June 28th at 11am.
No RSVP is necessary. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.
